So what is our reconditioning process? It is what we do that separates us from other equipment dealers.
Comprehensive Equipment Inspection. Factory trained mechanics perform a comprehensive 25 point inspection on every piece of reconditioned equipment we sell. Years of experience and training guide them as they inspect all the major mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on your telehandler.
Replace high wear parts. Over the years we've learned a thing or two about rough terrain forklifts. We know the makes. We know the models. More importantly, we know what parts wear out, which systems fail, and what should be fixed. Boom hoses, wear pads, gaskets, o-rings, we know what to replace in order for your telehandler to run trouble-free. We replace these parts so you don't have to.
Major mechanical service. The most important step in the process. We perform a compression check on the engine and perform rebuilds if required. We inspect and make necessary repairs to the axles. We check the brakes, trunions, ring and pinion, and spider gears. We perform compression tests on the transmission (all gears - forward and reverse). We also drain all the fluids and verify that they contain no metal shavings (a sure sign of trouble). After testing the transmission, we make required repairs.
Repainting & Re-decaling. We want your forklift to look as good as it runs. After we finish the mechanical service on your forklift we make it look good too. We hand sand the telehandler. Then we repaint it and replace all the factory decals. We even replace the operator's seat too. When the job is done you have a forklift that looks great. You'll feel like you got a new machine, but know that you paid thousands less.
Documentation. This may not seem like a big deal, but it is. When you buy used machines from others you get a forklift. You probably will be missing the Operator Guide, the Load charts, and the Lube charts. We make sure all our reconditioned equipment have these important documents when it is shipped to you. Safely operating your telehander, and knowing how to care for it, is important to us.
